Breaking Open the Flask

     Coming away from the our 4th Annual Girlfriends Get-a-Way brings an altogether new prospective on this life God has called me to live.... away from Insecurity and Abandonment... praying to know the heart of God in others.... letting go of the past....  forgiving and living and being more intentional about it.... drinking in God's Goodness.... living by FAITH and TRUST to "Reap the Harvest He promised me.... Take back what the Devil stole from me.... I rejoice today for I shall recover it all."      Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."      God never promised me an easy road in this life; I'm continuing to learn how to "rouse myself up" to appreciate the working out of my Salvation in Christ especially in the difficulties that come.  The Question

     It's Good Friday, dear friends.  As I awoke this morning the "hubby" and I had Jesus on our minds.  It was in the wee hours of that morn when the rooster crowed and Peter had denied Jesus three times.  It was a brutal time for Jesus as He took the punishment for our sins.  Somberly, we recount the scriptures today by sharing a particularly hopeful word from our church.  I thought it was a great way to continue my theme for this year on this blog.  Hope you will click into the link below.      Prestonwood Easter Devotional: "The Last Words of Christ"      The "hubby" and I continue our hope journey presently in anticipation of the birth of our sweet granddaughter who should arrive just any day now.        It's Friday, but Sunday's coming!!!
