I Peter 1:1-2 Beginning again, All Things New!  It's a good time; the right time; finally.   Once again I'm reminded that the journey we walk here is one of sanctification: consecration & purification of heart & life.  At times, it's not pretty, fun and most assuredly wearisome.  Yet somehow He always yields the "peaceful fruit of righteousness" in this worn out body.  How does He create righteousness in me?  Though I'll never understand, I am eternally grateful!! Thank you precious Jesus, Savior, friend.  Stay tuned, I will be here more regularly!

Don't Lose Heart IN the Process

     Coming away from the our 4th Annual Girlfriends Get-a-Way brings an altogether new prospective on this life God has called me to live.... away from Insecurity and Abandonment... praying to know the heart of God in others.... letting go of the past....  forgiving and living and being more intentional about it.... drinking in God's Goodness.... living by FAITH and TRUST to "Reap the Harvest He promised me.... Redemption

Leaning Into Our Circumstances to Trust

II Corinthians 2:14, "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him."      It seems these days, many of my friends and acquaintances have arrived at a circumstance or circumstances in their lives not of their own choosing.  Circumstances way beyond their control.  I am no exception.  As a matter of fact, at times, I have felt as if God has left me, alone and empty.  Through circumstances of grief and pain, I've come to discover something so special, so great!  I live for a REAL God.  A God who has ordered my life for me long before I ever knew He existed!  Before I knew Him; He knew me!  He thought of me!  He had a plan all along, just for me!  Most of the time it's a plan I cannot understand.  He places these circumstantial crossroads in my life to cause m...

Trending Conversations

     God does not intend HARM for us; He intends good.  I've been seeing this portion of Jeremiah 29:11-14 "Trending" in conversation opportunities that cross my path alot lately, Jeremiah 29:11, "... plans to prosper you and NOT TO HARM YOU, plans to give you hope and a future."  Of course, if I want to fully understand this portion of scripture, I gotta read the surrounding story.  You may want to do the same since God may speak something entirely different over you.  My take on the story: God gives us Free will to choose our own way; in fact, he willfully carries us to the choices we make: vs 14, "I carried you into exile."  I can remember a few times that my choices reaped a result of "exile."  But you know what?  When I was done with my "stupid," choices, He was there awaiting my prayer to relocate out of "exile" and back into his will or as my husband says, "His umbrella of protection."  That's when we...

     Ephesians 3:14-21, "For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  Now to him who is able to do immeasureably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever!
